Cail & Fletcher barometric condenser

Cail & Fletcher barometric condenser condensates the vapor coming from an equipment working under vacuum by direct contact with cold water in a counter-current mode. The water from the condenser is discharged from the bottom of the condenser via a barometric seal leg. The incondensable gases are collected at the top of the vessel and discharged to a vacuum pump.
Three designs of barometric condensers are available (Cail, Rain Tray, Petal) covering variable operating conditions from one factory to another one.
Cail & Fletcher barometric condenser is ideal for crystallization, evaporation and vacuum filtration.
Economical
The water consumption is low.
Optimized performance
The design is simple and is not sensitive to water quality.
Low maintenance
The temperature approach (∆T vapor – hot water) is reduced.
