Fives organized its first sugar centrifugals training in Brazil
The estimated number of sugar centrifugals of all types installed in Brazil is 5 000. To enable operators to optimize the use of such key sugar process equipment, Fives, through its subsidiary Sugar | Bioenergy in Brazil, organized for the first time a training session dedicated to the Cail & Fletcher centrifugals and centrifugals of all brands.
More than 60 operators attended this one-day theoretical and practical training, which emphasized the qualities of Cail & Fletcher centrifugals, their reliability, the safety for the operators, and the benefits of a maintenance performed by Fives and its network of partners.
8 large Brazilian sugar groups were represented: Raizen, BP, Guarani, Santa Terezinha, Tonon Coruripe, Pitangueiras, and Santa Fé.
Owing to the interest generated by this event, Fives is organizing a new session on another of its key equipment for which it is the leader in the Brazilian market, namely: the Cail continuous vacuum pans. This training, which will take place on October 23, 2014 in Sertãozinho, will also address the topic of energy optimization possible in a factory.
